Hero Destini 125 Overview
At the 2018 Auto Expo, Hero MotoCorp unveiled two new 125cc scooters called the Maestro 125 and the Duet 125. Now, the homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer is gearing up to launch one of them, albeit with a different name. Yes, that’s right, the company has decided to rename the Duet 125 to Destini 125 and has confirmed that the scooter will be launched on October 22. This will make it Hero’s first-ever 125cc scooter to hit the Indian two-wheeler market.

The Destini 125, which will be marketed as a family-oriented scooter, gets a simple design that comprises of soft lines and curves. The front apron and the side panels get a substantial amount of chrome, which is very similar to what we’ve seen on the Honda Activa 125. It will be equipped with an external fuel filler cap, a mobile charging port, a boot lamp, a remote key as well as a semi-digital instrument console with a side stand indicator as well as service-due indicator.

Powering the Hero Destini 125 is a 124.6cc ‘Energy Boost Engine’ that produces 8.6PS of power and a peak torque of 10.2Nm. What's more, it also features Hero’s i3S start-stop technology to save fuel too! The Destiny 125 will get an optional front disc brake on the top-spec variant, while Hero’s Integrated Braking System - a rudimentary feature in most scooters these days - will be offered as standard.

The Destini 125 will be available in five colour options - red, brown, black, silver and white. When launched, it will take on the likes of the Honda Activa 125, TVS NTorq 125 and the popular Suzuki Access 125.
